• Condoms were designed to protect against
pregnancy - not STD's.
• Sperm is 450 times larger than the AIDS virus.
• Over 300,000 AIDS virus cells can fit on the
head of a pin.
• Many STDs are transmitted skin to skin.
(examples are Herpes and HPV).
• Skin transmission means: you don't even
have to have sex to get them.
• By law, condom manufacturers cannot
claim that condoms prevent STD's
- they instead claim they “may reduce the risk”
